JILL CURREY

Jill Currey is Principal of Currey and Co Consulting. The purpose of the consultancy is to encourage people to take charge of how they show up in life and to step into the fullness of what it means to be human and lead in this critical time.

Jill supports clients to discern what matters most, and how their current way keeps them stuck. By developing self-awareness with self-compassion, they notice habitual patterns of reactivity and can start shifting to a new way of working in the world.  They begin to notice more spaciousness, agility, and ease with what was previously difficult.

In the longer term, clients are more effectively able to work with the complexity and volatility of our time. They are better equipped to make profound contributions in their sphere of influence.

Jill specialises in working with education, government and not-for-profit.

Jill embodies this work and engages with a coach herself fortnightly.

What they say

I really enjoyed working with Jill, and gained greater self-awareness and new skills to support my growth. Jill knows how to navigate to the centre of an issue, and then help you explore, understand and act from a new perspective.  She challenges you to grow in the most respectful and empowering way. It's rare to carve out that space, and receive direct support to really focus on a development goal. I wholeheartedly recommend Jill as a coach.

Alison Raymond, Tasmanian Leaders Program participant

Thank you again for being an excellent coach. I really valued our time together.  I felt that through your coaching I gained deeper insights into myself that enabled me to reflect, take action and trial new behaviours as part of a continuous growth and learning journey (both personally & professionally).

Kate Daley, General Manager Retail and Energy Procurement, Enwave Australia

I found Jill engaging and able to dissipate my early trepidation about engaging in a process I was new to. I now see the “tells” of when I am lacking confidence in myself and am able to adjust accordingly. This has helped the teams I lead have increased certainty and purpose. I now feel more comfortable recognising and talking about my strengths. I am contributing more effectively in meetings and discussions.

Stephen Hill, AOD and Housing Manager, Launceston City Mission

Totally unprompted one of my leadership team commented that he has never felt as empowered to make decisions as he had under my leadership. This is exactly what I had been aiming to do and I am so pleased that I have been able to achieve it relatively quickly.

Senior Executive, State Government

I went into coaching not knowing what to expect. Jill was really intuitive and helped me identify my goals in a way I wouldn’t have been able to do on my own and she taught me some simple tools to use in my day to day interactions.   After only a few sessions I was more observant, more confident and now I have a clearer path towards my goals.
